About This Role:

We are currently seeking an ambitious and dynamic Data Visualization Specialist to execute our data-driven initiatives. This leader will be pivotal in harnessing the power of data across all business operations, employing tools like Power BI to transform raw data into actionable insights to be delivered to the relevant stakeholder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Leadership: Work with Business Intelligence team to execute a holistic BI strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis and visualization of business data, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
  • Power BI Expertise: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports. Ensure that all business units are equipped with the data visualizations they need to make informed decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various department heads and senior management to identify information needs and deliver insights. Train and educate end users on use of reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest in BI trends, tools, and best practices. Implement initiatives to continuously enhance the BI function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
    • Experience in construction and/or tree industry preferred

Core Competencies:

  • Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, and Azure Servers.
    • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
    • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Skills in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
    • Ability to network with other professionals in the industry.
