We are seeking a dedicated Registrar to join our team at Pillar College. The Registrar is a key team member who provides support in planning and implementing policies related to academic records, retention, management, and reporting.

The Registrar is responsible for collaborating with the College leadership to develop and implement in the area of academic policies; ensure interpretation and compliance of academic policies and FERPA, including all state and federal regulations; oversee registration processes; secure the accurate collection, processing, and evaluation of student records and transcripts; generate and store data for institutional planning and management; and assist with the faculty advising program and course schedule development.


Requirements:

- Manage student registration processes and academic records

- Develop and maintain systems to record student academic progress, including maintaining student records to ensure compliance with policies and accrediting bodies

- Provide support to faculty for academic advising and student progress tracking

- Advise students on course selection and degree requirements

- Collaborate with university departments for student recruitment efforts

- Use Anthology Student Information System to maintain student data accuracy

- Give public speaking engagements to educate students and staff on registration procedures

- Manage education administration tasks related to student enrollment and graduation processes

- Provide resources and factual information to comply with laws and regulations

- Complete the IPEDS, MSCHE, and ABHE reports to comply with external organizations


QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

· Progressive responsibility in enrollment management administration.

· Experience with Microsoft Office.

· High ethical and professional standards.

· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

· Strong commitment to student-oriented service.

· Commitment to professional growth and development through active involvement in relevant professional organizations.

· Demonstrative ability in building consensus among diverse constituencies.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Master’s degree in related field preferred

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills interacting with students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

85% of the time is spent sitting at a desk using the computer and phone.
