Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients' medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases
- Prescribe medications and provide treatments within your scope of practice
- Educate and counsel patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide exceptional patient care with empathy, professionalism, and respect
- Adhere to all practice and legal regulations and guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to stay updated on the latest healthcare and medical practices
- Serve as a resource for colleagues and other staff members

Requirements:

- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare setting
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
