Hire Direct is interviewing motivated Sanitation Technicians to join an established, growing company in Ogden, Utah. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning by established guidelines and specifications and ensuring equipment is operational for production runs. Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble processing equipment.

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Workday. Rotating Work Schedule. Day Shift, Night Shift, Monday- Friday

Hourly Wage: $21.00/hourly

Responsibilities:

Safe, efficient, and effective cleaning of production equipment, processing rooms, and adjacent areas.
  • Perform swabbing (ATP, Environmental) of equipment and areas in support of site sanitation and other assigned programs.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety, work safety, and food defense.
  • Follow the approved sanitary methods following food safety requirements.
  • Ensure safety precautions are followed in performing your responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing within a GMP environment is required.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices for industrial cleaning chemicals and food safety-related practices.
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
  • Highschool, GED, or equivalent diploma required.
