Overview

Job Title: Cashier / Server / Kitchen

Job Type: Part Time

Location: Tampa, FL

Salary: $17 - $20 / Hourly

We're looking for an outgoing Front of House / Back of House expert who is a good person to join our fun and energetic team to sling empanadas, shaved ice and so much more with us We are in search of people that communicate well, care about others and can critically think.
We offer very competitive pay starting at a minimum of $17 hourly and inclusion in tip pool, a positive environment and employee discounts at our 4 other restaurants that are also located in Tampa.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking orders at walk up window.
  • Processing sales transactions and taking payments.
  • Cross-selling and upselling products
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining area
  • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Preparing food including cleaning and prepping sauces, empanadas and shaved ices

Qualifications:

  • Service-oriented and willing to help patrons.
  • Customer service skills to maintain positive customer relationships, encourage customer loyalty and resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent communication to interact with team members and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
