Position
  • The company is in need of an experienced QC microbiologist to perform laboratory analyses to support GMP manufacturing
  • This person uses a variety of instrumentation to test materials per applicable FDA and EU regulations
  • This individual ensures proper records are kept and maintained
  • This person will test materials to ensure products meet applicable USP and EP standards
  • This person will be responsible or receiving and monitoring inventory levels of lab supplies and reagents
  • This person may be assigned to participate in GMP audits performed by internal and or external personnel
  • The position is NOT remote

Qualifications
  • Two years of analytical lab experience in a highly regulated environment (preferably GMP) is required
  • A four-year degree is required and a science degree is highly desired -- chemistry, biochemistry and biomedical engineering are most preferred
  • Familiarity with USP and cGMP is highly desired
  • This firm greatly values intellectual curiosity and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
