Key Responsibilities
- Paints units using pneumatic and/or air assisted paint spray gun.
- Prepare paint and materials to proper specification.
- Stage units for final shipment
- Responsible for all shop equipment and tools in his/her workstation (especially spray equipment). Maintain safe, clean and orderly workstation.
- Work requires close interaction with other associates. Must be able to function in a team orientated environment.
- Must maintain a level of quality that ensures a less than 2.5% reject rate.
- Quality Assurance – It is the painter’s responsibility to reject prior to top coat finish, any unit that has not been properly prepped.
Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseThe ideal candidate will embody the following characteristics and possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:
- Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
- Hardworking.
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 100lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50lbs force frequently.
- Comfortable working in extreme heat and cold.
