Inspector Central Indiana

JQOL is seeking an Inspector/ RPR to join our growing company in Central Indiana. The successful candidate will work with our inspection team to ensure construction projects are built not only to design, specifications, and standards, but to the quality that we can take pride in, and the project owners will remember. The chosen applicant will be involved in a variety of construction projects ranging from new bridge construction, bridge rehabilitation, new road construction, road rehabilitation, and traffic/pedestrian safety improvements as well as many others. Our team members will have opportunities to learn new skills, assisting our design and survey departments between construction projects. This position is open to both entry level and experienced candidates with a strong work ethic.

A day in the life of a Project Inspector

Your work will include all aspects of construction inspections including, but not limited to, daily reports, plan reading, quality calculations, as-built drawings, erosion control review, MOT review, and testing procedures. You will work closely with the JQOL inspection team as well as other inspection partners and clients.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Previous inspection experience is preferred
  • INDOT Certified Technician is preferred
  • INDOT Material Testing Proficiencies is preferred
  • Proficiency with Site Manager/CIP preferred
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
