A Behavioral Technician Role at Guidelight Health
Guidelight Health is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to provide services to Adolescents and Adults in a PHP/IOP setting. As a Behavioral Health Technician you will provide direct, hands-on support to clients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of Masters-Level Clinicians and other mental health professionals.
Behavioral Health Technicians will provide critical support to the Clinical Team in various ways, including:
- Assisting the team and clients with holding the daily program structure to ensure that groups start on time for maximum client benefit.
- Completing observation rounds and safety checks per provider’s orders.
- Working with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan.
- Acting as a secondary support staff in group therapy and milieu.
- Providing case management support to clients by setting up aftercare appointments.
- Completing documentation of client observations and individual check-ins that occur throughout the day.

- Experience working with Adolescents and Adults
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- 6+ months of direct client care/milieu experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
