The Restaurant Assistant General Manager oversees and manages all areas of the restaurant and makes final decisions on matters of importance to guest service.

Restaurant Assistant General Manager Requirements:

  • Prior Restaurant Management experience is necessary.
  • Experience with banquest, catering, and party planning is ideal.
  • A motivational leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.
  • Administrative duties to include payroll and accounts payable.
  • Must maintain high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
  • Skillful planner with knowledge of basic business fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships and leading others.
  • Infectious, positive attitude that inspires others.
  • Must show initiative and possess the skills to self-manage.
  • Work under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager
Requirements:

Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Polite, pleasant manner, a neat and clean appearance
  • Excellent communication skills, highly organized, and a strong attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of P&L, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Sustainable operational results with solid job history
  • Hands-on leadership
  • High School or Equivalent
  • Experienced with MicroSoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends
