Overview:

We are seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)/Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health services and be passionate about helping individuals with developmental disabilities. Bilingual is preferred.


Duties:

  •  Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions
  • Implement cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
  • Utilize crisis intervention and management strategies
  • Administer psychopharmacology treatments as needed
  • Develop behavior management plans
  • Offer behavioral therapy to clients
  •  Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities

Admin Duties

  • Answer phone and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and orientation
  •  Ensure the overall organization of the office (cleanliness, visitors, etc.).
  • Project management,
  • Auditing
  • Scheduling and coordinating maintenance, ordering supplies,
  • Writing and reviewing various communications across the agency, while also ensuring smooth operations and processing data


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling)
  • Certification as a QMHP
  • Bilingual is preferred
  • Experience in crisis intervention and management
  • Strong understanding of cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its applications
  • Skilled in behavior management techniques
  • Experience in providing group therapy sessions
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
