We are looking for an individual with a passion for helping pets and clients by way of client education and detailed communication. As this position is a representation of the quality of care and medicine we provide, this individual must be motivated, positive, team oriented, organized, detailed and helpful at all times.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the surgeons to facilitate extraordinary patient care and customer service
  • Liaison between the surgeon and client
  • Communicate consistently with clients whether in person, by phone, or email.
  • Accurately communicate important medical history of a patient to our surgeons
  • Safe patient handling and restraint (*Must be able to lift more than 25 pounds)
  • Checking a patient's vitals
  • Assist the surgeon with patient exams
  • Accurately and consistently take radiographs and draw blood
  • Answer pre and post operative questions for clients
  • Respond to text or emails from established clients
  • Properly fill medications or call in scripts to pharmacies upon doctor's request
  • Properly document all client interactions in a patient's medical record
  • Assisting other team members or areas of the hospital
