Our client is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to spearhead their warehouse operations. This is a temp-to-perm position ideal for a proactive leader eager to create and implement structured processes in a vibrant, startup-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations: Lead and manage the daily activities of the warehouse, including order fulfillment, packaging, shipping, and inventory control.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a growing warehouse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Process Development: Design and implement efficient and accurate warehouse procedures, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of parts and inventory through meticulous data entry, ensuring documentation is always up-to-date.
- Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage logistics operations, coordinating with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely deliveries.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management, with a strong background in logistics, supply chain, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and manage an effective team.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and databases.
- A self-starter with the capability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Possession of a high school diploma is required, an Associate’s degree is preferred.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
