Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:

As an RBT Training Coordinator at Opal Autism Centers, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering training materials specifically designed for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other new hires. Your role ensures that all training resources are up-to-date and effective, supporting the professional development of staff and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also play a key role in monitoring the progress and performance of trainees, providing feedback, and communicating effectively with Clinic Directors and the administrative team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Experience in training and development, particularly in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with the RBT credentialing process and requirements.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in training software and platforms like CentralReach.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Material Development: Create, maintain, and update comprehensive training materials for RBTs and other new hires. Develop introductory materials about the organization to help acclimate new hires to the company culture and operational procedures. Manage and update training schedules and calendars in CentralReach for new hires. Ensuring training aligns with safety standards and ethic standards.

Training Execution and Support: Support new hires by troubleshooting technical problems and providing guidance with the use of training platforms. Check in regularly with new hire candidates to monitor their progress and engagement with the training program. Provide corrective feedback regarding performance and attendance, ensuring trainees meet the required standards. Report on new hire training progress in weekly meetings with Clinic Directors and other relevant staff.

Performance and Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the pass rate of new hires taking the RBT exam, aiming to continuously improve outcomes. Track infractions and manage the termination process for new hires according to company policy, ensuring compliance and fairness.

Collaboration and Communication: Follow directives and collaborate with leadership on updating training to improve success of the new hires. Work closely with the administrative team to ensure seamless integration of training and operational processes. Maintain regular communication with Clinic Directors to update them on the progress and any issues related to new hire training.

Working Conditions:

- This is a full-time remote position requiring 40 hours per week.
- The role may involve lifting, twisting, pulling, or pushing up to 60 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols and infection control policies.
- All team members are expected to maintain cleanliness and safety in their remote workspace and report any accidents or incidents immediately.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Pass Rate of the RBT Exam: Monitoring the percentage of trainees who pass the RBT certification exam after completing the training program, aiming to achieve or exceed a target pass rate.

Timely Submission of RBT Applications and Scheduling of Exam Dates: Ensure new hires submit accurate RBT applications by the stipulated deadlines. Hold new hires accountable to exam date per organization policies.
