Overview:The Senior Corporate Accountant will work in a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative team in a fast paced hospitality environment and that will challenge and expand their technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical skills. Qualified candidates will need to be highly motivated to learn and progress their career with a company that experiencing a high volume of growth.


Essential Duties:


  • Prepares, analyzes and reviews recurring monthly journal entries, supporting schedules and ad hoc requests.
  • Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and account variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial data across multiple business units.
  • Submits monthly financial statements and supporting schedules that identify actual, budget, variance and over/under based on the plan.
  • Implements and adheres to policies and procedures for the Accounting function, including compliance of all company accounting standards.
  • Recommends to management the implementation of policies, procedures, processes and controls based on continual analysis of current accounting processes.
  • Interact with internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication skills to discuss accounting processes or issues.
  • Provide support to Controllership, Tax and FP&A functions related to various other domestic and international accounting projects.
  • Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Education/Experience:


  • Bachelors degree in accounting, or a Bachelors degree in business with an emphasis in accounting
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting
  • Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to successfully collaborate with other teams.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Strong organization and decision-making abilities.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required, with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
