Refuse Technician

Environmental Products Group, a leading dealer in the municipal equipment industry, is looking for a Refuse Technician. We are an authorized Labrie, Wittke and Leach dealer for the southeast. This individual should be self-motivated and dedicated, with skills tailored toward multitasking, communication and attention to detail.

Job description

Technician will be responsible for diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of diesel and non-diesel trucks including, but not limited to: Chassis', refuse bodies (all brands and types), hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, powertrain systems, and various other repairs related to vehicle maintenance. Our Refuse Technicians will work primarily on Garbage Trucks.You must be a strong leader, reliable and a strong sense of quality Workmanship. You will also be responsible for:

· Using computer diagnostic software when required

· Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose.

· Welding, cutting and light fabrication.

· Ability to be a Team Player and work on your own.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift with possible overtime
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Drivers License – Class B CDL
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• A/C certified, ASE/IMAA atc. ASE Heavy Truck or Auto Certifications
• Sense of Quality Workmanship
