Maintenance Technician


Pay: $25-32/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Location: Holland, MI


Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance on machines and equipment on a regular basis to prevent breakdown.
  • Capable of completing PM’s without supervision.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to detect malfunction. Diagnose and dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repair parts.
  • Minor welding and fabrication.
  • Replace fuses, heaters, thermocouples, motors etc.
  • Follow Quality System approved work instructions and procedures and help improve these as needed.
  • Responsible for successful facilitation of all company safety policies and housekeeping.

  • Complete monthly Safety Observations.


Qualifications:

  • Industrial Maintenance Certification or 1+ years experience.
  • Training and experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, machining, plumbing, fabrication/welding and cutting.
  • Experienced with 480 and 240 volt AC 3 phase.
  • Basic industrial math understanding.
  • Mechanical repair aptitude. Capable of changing seals, bearings, and extruder screws.
  • Basic Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
