Mathnasium is a proud partner for Rowe Elementary School - to change lives through math. We are hiring motivated, responsible, and passionate math tutor who want to join a team of similarly-minded confidence builders starting Fall Semester 2024-2025 School Year.
We offer a safe and fun environment working with students K – 12 grades and help them advance in math. Share your love of math and help students build confidence. We offer a part-time role with 3 shifts a week. We are open after school and on weekends so you can balance work with your studies and other activities.
Position: Math Instructor
Job Type: Hybrid, Part-Time
Compensation: $16.50 ~ $18.50 per hour
Math Instructor Job Description:
· Share your passion for math and provide personalized math tutoring
· Bring your energetic, confident personality
· Great at explaining concepts and patient when students need extra help
· Don’t have tutoring experience? No worries Training is provided to help you become an excellent math tutor
All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
Requirements:- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- High School Diploma
- Passion for math and working with students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Strong math competency through at least Algebra I
- Available for 3 or more shifts each week
