ABOUT THE POSITION
The Forecast to Plan Oracle SME will own the Business process on Forecast to Planning value stream (Demand Planning, S&OP, Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning and Production Scheduling) and Global Order Promising. This role supports corporate deployment of Oracle planning software managing the development, implementation, coaching of business, IT support staff and reports to Group Director of Ops Planning.

Deliverables & Responsibilities
  • Conduct the workshops with Business partners along with consulting partner to gather the As Is business process.
  • Work with the consulting partner to design the future state and business process.
  • Lead the preparation of Requirement matrix.
  • Lead Business process flow documentation.
  • Work with other value streams to build the integrated Business process flow.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other value stream on cross functional requirements.
  • Work with PMO team to split the Requirements into User Stories, Build the acceptance criteria and slot them into sprints.
  • build the solution as per the requirements and future process flow.
  • Work with IT team to build the data conversion extract process as per the FBDI template.
  • Provide the data conversions requirements to other value streams which impacts the F2P.
  • Test the Solution and manage the defects for the closure.
  • Provide the status report to the PMO team.
  • Provide the weekly and monthly status to DRB team and highlight any risks and challenges.
  • prepare the test scenarios and test scripts.
  • test the solution in various stages of the Project like SIT, UAT.
  • Lead the data conversion in various stages of the Project.
  • Work with consulting partner and SME's that Configuration documents, Design documents are prepared and validated.
  • prepare the training material and SOP's.
  • train the business users.
  • Provide the Go Live support.
  • Provide Hypercare Support as needed.
  • Document the lessons learned.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
  • Experience developing demand forecast models for sales and operation planning processes including sales forecasting and plant scheduling.
  • Demonstratable understanding of forecasting and forecasting statistical methods.
  • Experience using Statistical and Qualitative data analysis. @Risk, R Studio analysis.
  • Requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Master scheduling, manufacturing, production / supply planning, operations, transportation
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization, negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills
  • APICS, CPIM, or CSPC National Certification preferred
  • Advanced analytical skills and excellent interpersonal skills are required to analyze complex and sensitive business issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is very important.
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects and initiatives to meet established timelines.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated to identify problems and take initiative to make corrective actions.
