About the Role
ECBM is looking for a Certificate Department Manager to join our team in our Certificate Department This person will report to the Operations Manager. They will provide support to clients and certificate department team members in processing day-to-day certificates of insurance and renewal certificates. They will oversee the certificate department's daily operations and certificate technical associates.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily workflow of the certificate department and oversee the certificate technical associates.
- Provide training on certificates of insurance to the certificate technical associates, as needed.
- Manage the third-party certificate compliance websites (ISNET, Avetta, MYCOI) and provide compliance website training & assistance to certificate technical associates, as needed.
- Oversee the certificate renewal process and assist the certificate technical associates to complete the renewals on time.
- Assist in answering the day-to-day questions from the certificate technical associates and be the main point of contact for any certificate issues or concerns that may arise.
- Responsible for issuance of day-to-day certificates of insurance, including rush certificate requests and renewals.
- Respond to client requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Use Agency Management Systems and Microsoft programs effectively and efficiently.
- Advises Account Manager of any situations involving client issues related to certificate compliance.
- Handle other projects and requirements as assigned by Management.
- Maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, and clients.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Attention to detail is required as well as the ability to process high volume of transactions.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Property & Casualty License required.
