Substitute Teacher

This is an on-call position where we will reach out to you as-needed to provide coverage when full-time teachers are out sick or on vacation.

The Substitute Teacher role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori. Many of our substitutes ultimately transition into part-time or full-time Assistant or Lead Teachers with us when new openings become available. Hours for the position and days worked vary based on the needs of the school.

• First Aide and CPR training
• High School Diploma and at least 18 years of age
• Experience working with children
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Have a valid state background check
• Warm and friendly demeanor
• Preferred if you have early childhood college credits
