Mount Indie is hiring a Logistician who will be responsible for logistical support for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Air Operations Center (AOC) program. This includes material receipt, handling, warehousing, tracking, shipment, and inventory from the time material is ordered until the time that it is installed on-site.This role will require an on-site presence in Oneida, NY then travel to Kuwait for up to 6 months at a time to support the installation and build out of AOC program.


Responsibilities:

  • Track material though entire logistics lifecycle from procurement through installation in country.
  • Maintain 100% inventory of all materials and equipment for the project.
  • Recurring inventory reporting.
  • Receipt of material at the OTS warehouse CONUS.
  • Track material and handling sign-in/sign-out/transfer of material between the warehouse and the System Integration Lab (SIL).
  • IUID tagging, tracking, and reporting.
  • Pack, unpack, consolidate, and palletize material for shipment.
  • Develop Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) including details of product support, sustainment planning, sparing models based on Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis.
  • Track, order, maintain spares and repair or replace spares consumed, damaged, or degraded during installation and testing.
  • Support Ship Readiness Review (SRR) prior to notifying the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) with a Shipping Information Request (SIR).
  • Prepare all shipping documents to be submitted to DCMA as part of the SIR.
  • Coordinate with DCMA for material pick up from Contractor CONUS staging location.
  • Package, label, and ship all materials in accordance with relevant standards for commercial packaging and intended mode of transportation/shipping.
  • Inventory, check materials and equipment for damage, and compare to pre-ship inventory upon delivery at the AOC facility OCONUS.
  • Notify the customer of missing/damaged items, including description and photographic evidence.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel OCONUS regarding warehousing, tools, equipment, vehicles, storage, lay down areas, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Valid US drivers license.
  • Valid Forklift license.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in DoD/Military logistics management, including purchasing, transportation, receiving, storing, inventorying, packaging, shipping, and disposing of materials.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience using logistics/inventory management software.
  • Experience with CONUS and OCONUS shipments for DoD/Military customers, including all associated paperwork.
  • Experience working on-site OCONUS in a logistics role strongly preferred.
  • Willing and able to travel for up to 6 months on-site in the Middle East
  • Experience with Export Control Compliance, ITAR, including Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), permits, and export licenses.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
