What you'll do:

As part of the Eye Trends team, you'll practice in the Greenspoint clinic and provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual, and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings, handle eye emergencies, and collaborate with staff members to help deliver on the practice's commitment to improving access to healthcare. The exam template is three slots per hour: two exams and a brief patient visit. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, and highly-trained staff will support you throughout patient encounters.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
