Licensed Psychologist

We are seeking a licensed psychologist or mental health therapist to join our team This position requires experience in working with children, teens, and parents. Our practice is CBT focused and offers many chances for additional training to further hone your skills. In person sessions are required in our Orangeburg, NY location. We consult with each other as a team weekly to ensure that all clinicians are supported in their work. Opportunities to participate in testing services may be considered for qualified applicants.

Our ideal candidate has a Doctorate in Psychology and valid NY license to practice. We may consider pre-licensed professionals who would be supervised within our practice at a lower rate.

$70 - $90 hourly

• Hold sessions with clients (heavy pediatric emphasis)
• Create treatment plans
• Assess for appropriate emotional/behavioral diagnoses based on presentation
• Develop progress notes and treatment summaries
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Meet with director monthly to discuss cases

• Must pass the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology
• Previous supervised experience of 1-3 years under a licensed psychologist is required
• Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills
• Must have a master’s degree and a Doctorate of Psychology (PhD, EdD, PsyD)
• Current state licensure approved by the ASPPB (Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards) in the state you practice
