About this Opportunity:
This position is responsible for in-process inspection and final inspection of the electro-mechanical and cable assembly departments. Record and maintain assembly inspection and testing records. This position is also responsible for initiating corrective actions and process improvements as directed by Quality Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final inspection of designated parts.
  • Document and maintain quality inspection records.
  • Ensure copies of drawings and specifications that are being used within the inspection process are at current revision.
  • Initiate corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Assist Assembly Quality Manager on data entry as directed.
  • Create and maintain records of DMR’s and Rework Work Order’s.
  • Create Certification of Conformance when required by customer.
  • Perform and maintain records of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
  • Communicate with appropriate departments regarding relative information related to customer product quality.
  • Perform additional responsibilities or activities assigned by Management.

Requirements / Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in cable harness assembly inspection or electro-mechanical product inspection and testing.
  • Be able to read, understand, and interpret customer drawings.
  • Familiar with QA/QC systems.
  • General Inspection knowledge.
  • Must have very good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Email.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, read and write in English.
