POSITION SUMMARY
The Spares Clerk receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in industrial establishment.

Essential Functions Statement(s):
- Provide special tool control, requisition processing and calibration of assigned equipment in support of the assigned program.
- Keep records of tools issued to and returned by workers.
- Provide analysis and research to support key business decisions.
- Conduct a search for lost or misplaced tools.
- Prepare periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
- Unpack and store new equipment
- Visually inspect tools or measure with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors.
- Reports on work order status.
- Ensure all work is done according to specification, regulation and company policy.
- Ensure that all tools and associated equipment are 100% accounted for.
- Establish and maintains a special tool calibration program.
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner with emphasis on operations support and assists as required to support the customer and mission.
- Ensure compliance with HAZMAT policies and regulations.
- Develop discrepancy trend charts/graphs as required to depict quality performance.
- May coat tools with grease or other preservative, using brush or spray gun
- May attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment, using electric marking tool.
- Perform other qualified duties as required

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
Experience: Prior experience Preferred but not necessary
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Certificates & Licenses: Driver License
Pass Background check to obtain Airport badge.
