Job Summary
We are seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to join our growing gym. HWD Fitness provides effective fat burning workouts to help members transform their lives physically & mentally. The Trainer also assists in providing a friendly, motivating and supportive environment along with a comprehensive educational program focusing on weight-loss & fat-loss. The trainer also provides exceptional customer service and focuses on building positive working relationships with members and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Create, set-up and provide fat burning workouts that deliver results
  • Implement circuit training workouts that are fun & effective and are conducive to HWD curriculum
  • Constantly motivate members & guests during, before & after workouts
  • Build positive relationships with clients, members & staff
  • Assist in selling merchandise & supplements
  • Post professional company photos on social media
  • Ensure a safe and secure workout location and environment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Lead a wide variety of classes to HWD members and guests
  • Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping members engaged and safe
  • Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisions
  • Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies


Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Current personal trainer or fitness instructor certification
  • Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred
  • First aid and CPR certified
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
