POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Landscape Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing multiple jobsites and

landscape maintenance crews and completing services of high quality in an efficient

manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The list below describes general duties and responsibilities but is not limited to:

• Enforce company policies and safety procedures.

• Train and promote the development of subordinates in the best management practices of maintenance and company standards.

• Delegate tasks to maintenance crew members.

• Manage personnel effectively and efficiently.

• Communicate and coordinate with the Operations Manager for accurate completion of all maintenance services.

• Monitor all tools, equipment and machinery for required maintenance.

• Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately.

• Maintains a safe and clean job site at all times.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Landscape Maintenance.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Knowledge of plant material, palms & trees.

• Be able to operate skid steer, backhoe, and loader.

• Florida Pesticide and Fertilizer License or ability to possess during probationary period.

• Computer literate.

• Microsoft and Microsoft teams experience a plus.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills.

• Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.

• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a past paced work environment.

• Possess a positive attitude.

• Must pass a pre-employment screening including Level-II Background Check and drug test.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for long periods, digging and lifting heavy objects of up to 55lbs.

• Must be able to work in and around various landscaping settings including direct contact with various plant and landscaping materials and exposure to various dust and noise.

• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
