WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Located in Bridgeview, the Human Resources Representative will be the key point of contact for employees and HR divisions. This position reports into the Director of OD/Training/Payroll for North America. The HR Representative will be assisting with the administrative workload, which can include supporting data analytics, acting as liaison between employees and the HR department, and maintaining employee records. The HR Representative holds a key role in our day-to-day operations and ensures that the company's human resources needs are being met in order to maintain positive relationships with all employees.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Maintains department related information for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and prepares data as requested on a routine and ad hoc basis.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Maintain and ensure that employee records are updated as necessary and are accurate
  • Assists department with administrative needs
  • Prepares mailings
  • Maintains and updates employee communication
  • Department filing and scanning compliance
  • Assists with coordinating annual and one-time facility-wide events
  • Coordinates company sponsored programs
  • Assists with facilitating company bereavement, service award and tuition reimbursement programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • A degree from an accredited College or University and/or two to five years related experience and/or training/or equivalent combination of education and experience cement, concrete, cement, construction, or manufacturing industries with quality improvement, project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility to changing work priorities
  • Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of data
