This role is office hybrid and based in Louisville, Kentucky.

What the Role Is

The FP&A Analyst, reporting to the FP&A Manager of Budgeting & Corporate Planning, will build and maintain brand, department, and corporate level forecasts at Heaven Hill. The Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, aggregating, forecasting and reporting results at the company, department, and brand level. In addition, this position will be responsible of monthly financial reviews, creating standardize report to analyze variances of actuals versus budget and prior year.


The FP&A Analyst will also perform work on complex and non-routine projects. The Analyst must be able to query data repositories, generating periodic reports as well as devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources.

How You Will Spend Your Time?


  • Collect, track and analyze brand performance against budgets
  • Assist in developing brand goals
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of corporate forecast model
  • Support the maintenance and regular updates of the corporate budgeting software (Adaptive Planning)
  • Prepares, tracks and analyze departmental budgets
  • Track and maintain Key Performance Indicators
  • Monitor and recommend portfolio optimization opportunities
  • Assist Business analysts with general report requests and analysis
  • Train Users on Reporting Tools
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis

Who You Are…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum three years’ work-related experience in business analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or finance
  • Previous experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial or operational analysis, research, audit, and problem solving
  • Analytical skills, in particular gathering data from a wide variety of sources, and presenting it in formats suitable for a wide variety of audiences
  • Excellent critical thinking skills - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Detailed knowledge and experience using ERP Systems and Microsoft Office tools and products including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Passion and personal accountability for maintaining high standards in daily work
  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual
  • Results oriented

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in the distilled spirits industry
  • Prior experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Power BI

Physical Requirements
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
