Position Overview

The Doffer position is a non-exempt, hourly position responsible for maintaining the flow of product from Looms to Tentering while ensuring quality and labeling of the product. Also ensuring the product is properly uploaded in the computer. This is a day shift position that requires you work 12 hour shifts 8:00am to 8:00pm with rotating days and weekends.

What you'll do

• Doff fabric from Looms in a timely manner
• Clean reeds
• Weigh and remove waste from Looms
• Acquire Weft yarn for the Looms using electric pallet jacks
• Constant housekeeping maintenance throughout the entire shift
• Properly fill out paperwork and declarations for quality checks on Looms
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• Ability to push/pull occasionally 20-22 lbs
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to work in an environment where temperature varies in range
• Ability to work and keep pace in fast paced environment
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Ability to tolerate moderate to loud plant noise levels
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate math equations
