Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Infusion Nurse to join our Research / Clinical team. The PRN Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering infusion therapy to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Research experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities:


Administer infusion therapy, including but not limited to IV antibiotics, hydration, and biologic therapy, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Assess patient's condition and response to therapy and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

Monitor patient vital signs and assess for any signs of adverse reactions.

Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, medications, and potential side effects.

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities and medication administration.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice.

Requirements:


Current RN license in the state of Alabama.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, with specific experience in infusion therapy.

Phlebotomy experience required.

Certification in infusion therapy (CRNI) is a plus.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.
