Decor Manager

The Decor Manager is responsible for all elements of decor at The Cake Bake Shop locations, including on site and warehouses in FL and IN. This role is highly collaborative and the individual will work directly with the President/Owner to identify, build, implement and maintain each of the season decor rotations, including the interior and exterior of the buildings. The individual will facilitate with team members and managers of various levels to accomplish a vision and to execute seasonal rollouts in a timely manner throughout the year and in accordance with a pre-determined schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities (this list is not all inclusive) :

• Assists with the creation of eye-catching decor that showcases the brand and the overall aesthetic of the company.

• Ensures that all decor is built, labeled and the rollout logistics are communicated to all department heads prior to install and during install during changeover.

• Works closely with the Executive Team to ensure all safety protocols are being adhered to and that any elements of the decor package are safe for guest facing areas.

• Builds, sets up, arranges, and removes decor to prepare and assist with seasonal decor changeover.

• Ensures all decor is organized in the correlating Warehouse, in accordance with the guidelines of the Executive Team.

• Maintains the appearance and upkeep of the decor package in The Cake Bake Shop locations throughout the year, replacing items as needed and communicating any major opportunities to the President/Owner.

• Responsible for quality control of all decor items.

• Uses Yellow Dog to receive, inventory and maintain par levels of all decor items, identifying any items that need to be ordered, allowing shipping and receiving time.

• Assists the President/Owner at decor trade shows by organizing items of interest, items that are purchased and items that are received.

• Collaborates with the President/Owner to understand her vision and objectives for the upcoming decor change.
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of related experience

• Travel is required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Excellent organization, prioritization and a keen attention to detail

• Proficient with Google Suite

• Ability to lift over 50lbs
