Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Tech is primarily responsible for assisting in facility maintenance, renovation, and repairs.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Perform preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on facilities.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and repair all production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot recurring equipment problems and find solutions.
  • Communicate the status and progress of the repair.
  • Minor modifications to facility equipment to improve product flow.
  • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
  • Maintain and secure work tools.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with hand tools and other shop equipment
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of mechanical math and calculations
  • Possess the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Ability to complete the required duties in a timely fashion
  • Ability to account for the time spent on various assigned tasks

  • Thorough knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
