About Us:
Alphagraphics is a leading provider of print and marketing solutions, dedicated to helping businesses and individuals communicate effectively. We are seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our high standards of quality and customer service.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate high-end digital presses (e.g., Xerox, Canon, HP Indigo, Konica Minolta) to produce high-quality print jobs.
  • Manage prepress tasks using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and RIP software (e.g., EFI Fiery, Creo).
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on digital presses to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure print jobs meet specifications and maintain color accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to clarify job specifications and address any issues.
  • Stay updated with new technologies and adapt to changing workflows.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience operating high-end digital presses.
  • Proficiency in prepress and printing software, including Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software.
  • Strong understanding of color management, calibration, and PDF workflows.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues with digital presses.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in graphic arts or printing technology is a plus.
  • Certifications from manufacturers (e.g., Xerox Certified Professional) and G7 Certification for color management are beneficial.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks.
