  • This position is part-time and operates within scheduled seasons lasting 6-7 weeks at a time.
  • This position does require working on Saturdays and Sundays while in season.

Job Summary
The Tennis Instructor is a hands-on role that will lead athletes and provides expert instruction of the sport Tennis. The Tennis Instructor is directly responsible for cultivating the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the court.

Responsibilities
  • Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
  • With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 2 years of Tennis playing or coaching experience
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check
  • Reliable Transportation to and from venue.
