The Exterior Waterproofing and Sewer and Drains Specialist will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining exterior waterproofing systems, sewer systems, and drainage systems. This role involves hands-on work on projects with the crew members, problem-solving, and ensuring that all systems function effectively to protect properties from water damage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspection and Diagnosis:
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of exterior waterproofing, sewer, and drainage systems to identify issues and potential problems as they arise.
• Utilize sewer equipment and sewer cameras to diagnose blockages, leaks, and other issues.
• Provide detailed reports on findings and recommend effective solutions to the production team and clients.
• Assist in the ongoing technical training of drainage issues to the field teams.

• Repair and Maintenance:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on exterior waterproofing systems, including foundation waterproofing, piping arrangements, and membranes.
• Repair and maintain sewer and drainage systems, including clearing blockages, locating breaks, and replacing damaged components.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.

• Installation:
• Install new exterior waterproofing systems, sewer lines, and drainage systems according to specifications and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure installations are completed efficiently and correctly.
• Test and inspect systems post-installation to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist in assessing reasons for any recall issues that may arise

• Inter Department Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with all depts to explain issues, proposed solutions, and preventative measures.
• Ability to problem solve and understand complex piping and drainage scenarios and consult on specific jobs while in progress
• Assisting the drain service teams in troubleshooting and additional help when needed.
• Assist in training new drain technicians and field staff.

• Health and Safety:
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to protect yourself and others on the job site.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe operation of tools and equipment.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations on a tablet.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and company records.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Suggest improvements to processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• QUALIFICATIONS ON REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in exterior waterproofing, sewer, and drainage system maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Proven knowledge of drain cleaning equipment and techniques
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment used in waterproofing and drainage work.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Pay: $22-$28/ hour
