Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shipping Dispatcher to join our team for the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating shipping activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining efficient communication across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Attendance:** Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
2. **Compliance:** Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), housekeeping standards, safety protocols, and all company policies.
3. **Communication:** Facilitate effective communication with Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, Transportation, Customer Service, and the FDC team. Participate in conference calls and proactively share information as needed.
4. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate filing systems and document management.
5. **Supply Management:** Manage and order supplies as needed, including office materials, Bills of Lading (BOLs), templates, etc.
6. **Data Entry:** Perform accurate data entry and file maintenance in the PRMS system, ensuring proper documentation procedures are followed.
7. **Order Confirmation:** Confirm the shipment of customer orders.
8. **Yard Management:** Execute and track trailer movement requests in the Yard Management System (YMS), ensuring timely follow-up on alerts.
9. **Issue Resolution:** Troubleshoot system issues to maintain workflow continuity.
10. **Order Assignment:** Manage the order assignment queue and truck check-in process.
11. **Warehouse Cleanliness:** Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized.

Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various teams.
- Proficiency in data entry and documentation.
- Experience with yard management systems (YMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards.
