GCT Chauffeured Services provides professional ground transportation. The primary focus of each Going Coastal employee is taking the stress of travel away from our clients and providing them with safety and security as we pay attention to every detail, no matter how large or small the job is.


POSITION SUMMARY

It is the primary responsibility of the Chauffeur Supervisor to provide courteous & professional services to our clients. As well as providing training, support, and coaching to Chauffeurs and Executive CDL Drivers. All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. All key responsibilities of a chauffeur
  2. Provide training to new hires and actively involved in onboarding process
  3. Support and oversee the shuttle contract drivers: backup driver as needed
  4. Handle incident response for all fleet issues, accidents, defects related to vehicles, etc
  5. Monitor Chauffeur and Executive CDL driver productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  6. Assist management in event management, fleet issues, coverage issues and other requests as needed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  2. Proven experience as a supervisor or relevant role
  3. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  4. Good knowledge of Google Workspace
  5. Ability to safely drive a full range of vehicles
  6. Ability to sit for extended periods
  7. Attention to detail
  8. Excellent customer service skills
  9. Geographical knowledge of the Charleston and surrounding areas, attractions, and history
  10. Adequate proficiency in English 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE

  1. Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  2. Experience:  1-3 years related experience preferred
  3. Experience: 1-3 years customer service experience preferred
  4. Basic computer skills
