What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Certified Medication Aide | CMA, you will be responsible for administering daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Your duties will include monitoring residents, reporting changes, and collecting and recording medication administration.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • A fire and passion for working with seniors
  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Must have active, and in good standing, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of practice
  • Prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide | CMA in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

Certified in the state of practice, required.Successful completion of State Approved and ertified Medication Technician/AideNurse Aide Training and Competency evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as Certified Medication Technician/Aide- in good standing.Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).�
