Title: Health Physics Planner II

Duration: Long-term contract

Location: Richland, WA

Required Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a science-related field and a minimum of five years of experience in radiation protection either as a Health Physics Technician, RP Supervisor, or RP professional staff position.

OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Physics and a minimum of 7 years of experience in radiation protection either as a Health Physics Technician, RP Supervisor, or RP professional staff position.

OR A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of nine years of experience in radiation protection either as a Health Physics Technician, RP Supervisor, or RP professional staff position.

A technical training certificate in Health Physics will be considered year after year in exchange for the required experience.

Additionally, this position requires At least one year of the required experience in radiation protection work at a nuclear facility dealing with radiological problems similar to those encountered in commercial nuclear power plants.

The ability to maintain rad worker qualifications.
