As Torfresma opens its first facility in the US, we are looking for an adaptable and hands-on Electrician Technician to be part of this exciting new venture.  In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, and you’ll have the opportunity to travel including to our headquarters in Brazil

You don't need years of experience or knowledge of our industry (we can teach you that). We'll provide outstanding training and development, we just need the passion, commitment and drive from you.

What you’ll do

  • Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to understand equipment configuration
  • Maintain and repair equipment and systems, assist in part inspections for accurate dimensions and fit
  • Install and replace electrical or electronic components; align, fit, or assemble component parts, using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
  • Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
  • Maintain relevant records and files, prepare reports, order supplies and equipment

What you bring

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Packaging machine installation and troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge in reading and understanding Electrical and Pneumatic Diagram
  • Knowledge in reading and understanding 2D Layout with AutoCAD
  • Current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
  • Experience using MS Suite preferred
  • Able to lift 50lbs
