Senior Program Support Manager

Reports To: Sr. Director of Programs

Location: Remote, Lowell, MA

The Position: Lead and developed the team of EforAll and EparaTodos Program Support Managers by assessing support requests from new and existing sites, delegating resources appropriately, and creating and maintaining a system to track all sites support requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the needs of our various sites and provide coverage for short-staffed program sites in English and Spanish due to vacancies or leaves of absence.
  • Identify opportunities to systemize by improving processes and defining changes to our tools.
  • Provide general programming support to site staff for both EforAll and EparaTodos programs, including coverage to run and co-host events, facilitating accelerator classes, and assisting with completing programming tasks.
  • Work with Regional Directors and local council board members at sites that need the Executive Director to create a detailed support and coverage plan utilizing national support resources and local volunteers.
  • Define the role of program support, set boundaries, and approve and reject requests based on guiding principles.
  • Track the progress of new staff and work with the Regional Directors and Training Manager on a plan for additional training when needed.
  • Assist in developing the accelerator schedules with the Program Experience team to ensure schedules meet requirements and plan for known instances where support will be needed.
  • Partner with the Regional Directors, Operations, and Program Experience teams with special projects to improve our operations.
  • Build internal relationships with program staff and collect honest feedback.
  • Assist program staff in learning our ever-evolving application developed by the organization to support our programs, and work with the Operations department to ensure sites follow the protocol of prompt data entry.
  • Share feedback and pain points from working with program staff to the appropriate departments.
  • Lead efforts to create outreach/communication plans for new and existing sites, supporting efforts to recruit entrepreneurs and volunteers.
  • Lead the team of Program Support Managers by assigning tasks and projects, setting goals, completing performance evaluations, and training the team on new policies and procedures.
  • Hire and train new Program Support Managers.
  • Translate documents and policies from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
  • Serve as a guest specialist for marketing, online sales, and social impact classes for sites when needed.
  • Help entrepreneurs develop business plans during the business accelerator.

Position supervises the work of two (2) Program Support Managers.

Minimum Requirements:

This position requires a Master's degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Program Support, Operations, or Program Manager, or similar position managing program staff and volunteers. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign) in Business Administration, International Relations, Political Science, or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience as a Program Support, Operations, or Program Manager, or similar position managing staff and volunteers.

Experience, which may have been gained concurrently with either the primary requirement above through professional or graduate-level academic experience, must include at least one year with the following:

  • Translating business documents from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
  • Assisting Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs in navigating tools and resources in English.
  • Overseeing project lifecycles from initiation to completion, employing robust project management methodologies to ensure efficient resource allocation, timeline adherence, and successful delivery of all project objectives.
  • Designing the framework for expanding and growing program support teams.
  • Supporting bilingual community outreach efforts to support program objectives.
  • Establishing nonprofit partnerships through community presentations and social media initiatives to expand program resources.
  • Collaboratively developing virtual programs to ensure successful execution of initiatives in line with program goals, including development of hybrid bilingual program offerings.
  • Designing and implementing outreach and marketing plans in Spanish and English.
  • Google Suites programs and project management software.

Must be fluent (spoken and written) in Spanish and English to support both English and Spanish

language programs.

This is a telecommuting position working from home, may reside anywhere in the U.S.
