Are you ready to take your ductwork installation skills to the next level? Look no further, because we have the perfect opportunity for you We are currently seeking a fun-loving and talented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Ductwork Installer - Sheet Metal Fabricating Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of an apprenticeship or a three-year, in-company training program
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision
- Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Great communication skills
- Certification is preferred
We're offering this position a competitive wage of $42 - $54 per hour. You will be given great benefits such as health, dental, vision, disability, a 401(k) plan with company match, generous paid time off (2 weeks to start, with the ability to earn up to 4 weeks), sick time, profit-sharing bonuses paid quarterly, and a $1000 bonus paid after 30 days.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DUCTWORK INSTALLER - SHEET METAL FABRICATING LEAD
This position will typically work from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
In this role, you will have the privilege of overseeing a team of skilled ductwork installers and showcasing your expertise in selecting the appropriate materials for each job. Your creative side will shine as you cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to the required dimensions, ensuring the utmost precision and strength. You'll have the chance to showcase your attention to detail as you measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions. Connecting the pieces or securing seams will be a breeze for you, whether it's through riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws. Utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and software applications, you'll complete each assigned job with finesse. But that's not all - as a Ductwork Installer - Sheet Metal Fabricating Lead, you'll also take charge of developing and maintaining records for projects and repairs, ensuring that everything is organized and accounted for.
