Shuttle Driver

Join our team at Sanel NAPA as a Shuttle Driver We are seeking a responsible individual to transport materials between our stores starting in Biddeford, ME using a truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 10,000 lbs. or less. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining our high standards of service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive truck to destinations using the most efficient routes.
• Maintain Haz-Mat documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Load and unload truck; ensure cargo is secure.
• Inspect truck equipment daily and perform routine maintenance.
• Obtain required signatures on receipts and delivery tickets. Assist in loading delivery vehicles and other non-driving duties as needed.
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicle.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of truck driving experience with a GVW of 10,000 lbs. or less.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Valid DMV record and current DOT medical card.
• Hazmat Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Forklift operator and Electric Pallet Jack training preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing more than 100 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and balance as required.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
• Occasional exposure to mechanical parts, heights, and chemicals.
