What Would You Do? The right candidate is responsible for efficiently shipping/receiving and storing materials. This position maintains a working knowledge of manual material handling methods, is responsible for assisting with organizing drivers’ deliveries for loading and assists with loading and unloading deliveries. This position is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Receives and accounts for all packages delivered to the shipping and receiving door and inspects all deliveries for damage and incorrect products with the highest attention to detail.
  • Unpacks and checks in parts orders and puts them away in their specific destinations based on part type and style.
  • Prepares orders for shipment from the dealership and ships all outgoing packages for deliveries using proper packaging materials.
  • Inspects sheet metal and merchandise properly before leaving the dealership.
  • Maintains stock on materials needed for shipping and receiving and assigns new parts to bin locations.
  • Correctly counts and checks tags and parts in bins on perpetual inventories.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned workplace.
  • Assists in the process of scrapping warranty material.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
Do you have the necessary education and experience?
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3+ years of automotive parts experience is required.
  • 1+ years of automotive DMS software experience is preferred.
  • Hazmat certification is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
