Stockroom Associate

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate ensures the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Unload, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick items from inventory according to pick lists or customer orders.
• Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively to move and transport materials.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in other warehouse-related tasks and projects as needed.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively (certification may be required).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
