The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, we are currently looking for a Rigger Supervisor.

What You'll Be Doing:

*Located in Philadelphia, PA*

Performs specific rigging operations using lever and chain hoists, reeving, rigging hitches and knots, anchor points, synthetic ropes, wire ropes, chains, spreader bars, synthetic slings, lifting points, dollies, trollies, winches, bars and levelers, and rigging jacks. Duties related to selecting and attaching hoisting and pulling gear for lifting, moving and positioning heavy machines, items of equipment, large structural parts and other heavy objects. Also, in relation to the fabricating, installation and repairs of standing and running rigging and wire cable, fiber or synthetic rope articles. Will be required to handle every type, kind and size object, aboard ships and in shops, with the help of cranes, chain and lever hoists.



What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years in Rigger Supervisor roles and a decade (10) years of experience as a rigger, showcasing your deep expertise.
  • Proficiency in rigging principles, methods, and equipment selection, with the ability to tackle any challenge.
  • Completion of relevant qualifications/certifications, including the NAVFAC P-307 Crane Rigger Course and others as required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Twelve (12) years of relevant ship rigging experience or relevant experience in the military.
  • CDL Class "A" or "B"
  • Small Craft (Boat) Operator-Boat License
