ARC Health is excited to grow again We're currently on the search for an experienced and dedicated Vice President of Operations. As the regional Vice President of Operations for ARC Health, you will be a pivotal leader in driving the success and growth of our behavioral and mental health management services within your designated region. Working closely with our clinical operations team and reporting directly to the EVP for Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, financial performance, and strategic initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional support to our partner providers and the achievement of positive patient outcomes.
This is a non-clinical position.
Operational Excellence:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on operational performance to ensure processes, people and analytics are empowered to drive efficiency and productivity across the region.
- Lead cross-functionally across human resources, finance, marketing, and clinical operations and work closely with partnered practices to drive operational outcomes and ensure the seamless delivery of management services to healthcare providers across the region.
- Establish and maintain standardized operational processes and protocols to promote consistency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Continuously assess operational performance and implement initiatives to streamline workflows, improve partner satisfaction and productivity, and enhance patient outcomes.
- Monitor operational metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability among ARC Health and partner provider teams to prioritize patient-centered care and service excellence.
- Collaborate with partner providers to identify administrative challenges and opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and support to ensure that administrative processes and support systems are optimized to enable positive patient outcomes and experiences.
Profit and Loss Ownership:
- Assume ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) performance for the region, including revenue generation, expense management, and profitability targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance for both ARC Health and partner providers, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
- Monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Growth Strategy:
- Support the development and execution of a strategic growth plan for the region in coordination with the business development, marketing, and corporate development teams.
- Support the integration of new partnerships as well as the expansion of new clinics and service offerings to meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers, expand access to care, and drive revenue growth.
We are looking for these qualities in a candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in healthcare is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years operational leadership experience, or equivalent healthcare leadership experience, 5 of which was in a management role.
- Proven track record of leadership and achievement in a management role, preferably in healthcare management services or related field.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated performance in data-driven operational leadership, preferably in mental and behavioral healthcare.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to operate with a great deal of autonomy and be able to take projects from inception to completion.
- Willingness to travel within the region and nationally as needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing, compliance requirements, and industry best practices is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
