The B.R.A.V.E. Program is seeking an Outreach Worker to perform various tasks related to the services they provide. This position will involve assisting program participants with accessing available resources, including crisis intervention, counseling services, and other forms of support. The Outreach Worker will also be responsible for conducting assessments, making referrals, and providing general assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and support to program participants.
- Assist with safety planning and provide guidance on available legal resources.
- Conduct individual counseling sessions under the direction of mental health professionals.
- Facilitate trauma support groups and offer case management services.
- Assist participants in applying for victim assistance funds and other services.
- Conduct danger/lethality assessments in violence situations.
- Provide support in job training, life skills, and job placement efforts.
- Assist with housing and health insurance enrollment.
- Provide transportation assistance for appointments and refer participants to community-based service providers.


Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in outreach or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work with a diverse population.
- Basic understanding of crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
